Summary

This article explains possible reasons why the option to print to PDF in your Platinum system is not working.

More Information

Print to PDF currently requires Windows 10

If you use the built-in PDF print records '92', '91' or '90' you may get the above message if your PC (or server, if using Remote Desktop) is not Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 or above. These options currently use the built-in Microsoft Print to PDF printer available only on those versions of Windows.

Only One Page Printed

There maybe cases whereby all the pages of my "Print to PDF" appear on the first Page of the produced file. The following article explains how to remedy this with a simple tweak to the setting on the printer record.

  • Once logged in from anywhere in Platinum press <Alt+P>.
  • Search for the PDF print record with <Ctrl+F1>.
  • Press <Shift+F10> to amend the details.
  • The "Page Breaks:" field will be set to 'Line Feed'. Change this by clicking the drop down box to 'Form Feed'.
  • Press <Esc> and [Accept] to save and try you PDF printing again.
