Summary
This Article explains how to stop the date import warning popping up on the Platinum login screen and other date fields.
More Information
There will be occasions when you log into the system and the following warning will pop up reading something like this:
Tuesday, 20th May 2008 is outside the permitted limits detailed below. Your security clearance does allow you to continue. Your permitted period is Saturday 1st September 2007 to Friday, 30th November 2007. Do you want to use the date you entered? YES NO
This is to warn you that you have entered a date that is outside pre-defined limits from your financial period. Some users find this a useful way of warning them when they have entered the wrong date. If you wish to disable it, follow the steps below. This should not be done without clearance from a manager or system administrator.
If the message says "Your security clearance does not allow you to continue." you will need to speak to someone who has administration privileges to remove the warning for you. |
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings" and enter 'accountancy period' into the search and change all the security levels to allow 1 month backward and 99 months forward with the "Continue" sett to 'Yes'.
