Summary
The following article outlines how to to alter your Platinum payroll Government Parameters
Additional Information
 | WARNING: Make sure no other users are in the Payroll system |
From your Payroll Main Menu Select:
- Go to Payroll Parameters/Maintenance
- Then go to Payroll Parameters
 | Note: If the system warns you other users are in the system, make sure no one else is in the Payroll system and select YES to continue |
- Government Parameters
- Tax bands
- Over type the existing upper an lower limits with the ones outlined in the email from Catalyst Software Support (If you have not received this email support@catalyst-uk.com or call 0116 2301500).
| Note: Leave Tax Rate 40% set to a zero upper limit, as the system will automatically tax earnings at 40% if they exceed the upper earnings limit |
- The basic rate should still be 22% and the Overriding Regulatory Limit should still be 50% (K Codes).
- Tap <Esc> once you have entered the new bands.
