How do I check when I last had a Platinum update?

The following article outlines how to check how up to date your version of Platinum is.

The Platinum system does not update itself automatically as all users need to be out of the system to allow the update to run.

Customers with current software maintenance are entitled to update their system at any time, however it is the responsibility of the user to run said updates.

We recommend regularly updating the software. At least once per month is advisable as this ensures you are getting the most from both your system and your business.

Checking the Version

Log into your Platinum system.

  • Go to " Help About Platinum".
  • You will see the "Platinum version" on the [Licensing] tab.
From May 2022 Platinum updates are issued with a version number. Systems updated prior to May 2022 will display a version date until you next update.

Any features or changes added after this date will be missing from your installation until you download and install the latest version of Platinum.

The [Online Check] button on this tab is to update any licence details and check for any Price updates or Post Code updates that need to be applied to your system.
  • The [Online Check] button will NOT update Platinum software.
