Summary

The following article explains how to copy or schedule jobs in Logistics Management.

Copying jobs

You can copy a job within Logistics and specify how many copies you wish to make. This will copy the job and place them all on the same date. If you wish to schedule jobs to different dates then please read the "Repeated jobs" section.

  • Select the job you wish to copy in the list.
  • Press [Shift-F2] to bring up the Copy or Repeat Job function.
  • Select 'Copy' from the "Copy or repeat?" dropdown.
  • Specify how many copies you wish to make and "Copy"
Check your settings before clicking [Done]. Once the jobs are generated you will have to manually amend or delete each one if you create jobs in error!

Repeated jobs

You may repeat a job after you have created it. For example; when creating a job you may wish to repeat the job for the selected period to save you having to create each day as a separate entry.

  • Select the job you wish to repeat in the list.
  • Press [Shift-F2] to bring up the Copy or Repeat Job function.
  • Select 'Repeat' from the "Copy or repeat?" dropdown.
  • Specify how often this job repeats, and the days to apply it to.
  • Specify the date range for the repeated jobs e.g. a single week for a job or a 12 month period if you are creating an entry to appear on the first Monday of every month.
Check your settings before clicking [Done]. Once the jobs are generated you will have to manually amend or delete each one if you create jobs in error!
  • Once the entry is ready to save click [Done] and [Accept]
