How do I change where unit health checks and advisory reports print?

Summary

Though the Platinum system defaults to a particular printer you may wish to change this. This article explains how to do so for the Unit Health Checks.

Units: Unit is a general term used to cover all types of vehicle and machinery, including items such as motorcycles, scooters, cars, trucks, vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats, tractors, ATVs, agricultural equipment, wholegoods and construction equipment.

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings" and search for 'advisories'.

  • For each of the following options, highlight the item and click [Edit].
    • "Report after jobcard print record".
    • "Check sheet after job card print record".
    • "Report after invoice print record".
  • To change where these items print, change the "Output" to the required number. You can search for a print record from here by pressing <Ctrl+F1>.
  • Click [Ok] having made any changes.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept].
