How do I Check all my POD's Have Been Scanned Correctly?

Summary

This article explains how to check whether all your scanned PODS have been imported into your Platinum system after a Bulk import.

More Information

  • Once the standard scanning processes have been followed, go to the INBOX folder using the shortcut on your Windows Desktop.
  • Any PODS that have not been read or scanned correctly will still be in this folder with names starting with the date backwards (e.g. '20110301-143014#001.jpg') rather than the job number (e.g. for job number 24 would be '00000024-001.jpg').
  • These Images should be opened and reviewed to work out any issues.
  • Once the errors have been diagnosed and notes made of the related job numbers, remove all files in this folder by sending them to the Recycle Bin in the usual way.
  • Rescan the related PODS with problems corrected (e.g. Scanned wrong way round or folded during scanning).
  • Re-run the Bulk import option in the usual way by going to " Logistics Management Maintenance Options Bulk Import of Scanned Documents".
