How do I convert my model codes to Catalyst standard model codes?

Catalyst can now provide you with a unit model file with more than 3000 unit models already created with basic information. It is possible for you to merge your existing unit models with these Catalyst Approved model codes. This has been done for your convenience and to simplify and assist with uploading units to the various third party web sites.

• To convert your existing models to Catalyst Approved models, go to " Unit Sales Maintenance Options Add or Edit Models".
• Search for the model you wish to merge or press <Enter> to see the full list of models in your system.
• Highlight the model you wish to merge with a Catalyst Approved model and press <Ctrl+F10>.
• The system will then search for a matching model code in the Catalyst Approved model list. There will be three possible outcomes of this :
  • The search will find a single match and this will be selected.
  • The search will find multiple model options and you will need to select the most appropriate one.
  • The search will find no matches. If this happens you can click [OK] and change the search term if you think it might be listed under a different name.
• Once you have selected an appropriate model, you will be asked if you want to update your system to use the approved model code in place of the old non-standard code. Click [Yes] to have the system replace all occurrences of the old model code.
• This will go through all instances of this old model code being used in your system and replace it with the Catalyst approved model code and then return you to the model list.
