How do I Opt Customers in to Direct Marketing?

Whether or not a customer is opted in to direct marketing is controlled by customer "Attributes".

Go to " Sales Ledger Customer File Maintenance Add or Edit Customers".

• Search for the customer you want to opt in to marketing.
• Highlight the customer on the list.
• Press <Ctrl+F7> to toggle whether or not the customer is opted in to direct marketing.
  • A tick will be shown in the "Marketing" column once the customer is opted in.
• If the customer would only like to opt in to certain types of marketing:
  • Press <Alt+F8>, to open the customer "Attributes" tab.
  • Here you can find specific attributes to opt a customer into 'SMS' or 'Email' marketing.
