How do I Send an SMS to my Drivers?

The following article explains how to send job details via SMS text messages to your drivers in Logistics Management.

Go to " Logistics Management Job Planning".
- Press [Search] to list all the un-invoiced jobs for today.
 | If the job you require is not on today's date, then amend the date range shown at the top of the screen by clicking the [Advanced] button. |
- Select the job for which you want to send details via SMS. Obviously the job must have a driver allocated to it, and there must be a mobile phone number attached to that driver.
- Press [Text Driver] button shown at the top of the window to send job details to your driver.
 | If you do not see an SMS pop-up when you click [Text Driver] then this means that the report that sends the SMS message has not been added as a global report. See here for details on how to add this report. |
