Summary

This article explains how to create extra prompts in " Platinum O+ Site Maintenance", against which extra information can be entered, saved and exported to third party e-commerce services.

More Information

  • Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options Platinum O and Catalyst Findit Add or Edit E-Commerce Attributes".

Creating a New E-commerce Prompt

  • Press <F6> or the [Add] button.
  • At "E-commerce attribute:", enter a unique three character code to identify the e-commerce prompt.
  • At "Description:", enter the text for the prompt.
The text entered here is also exported to the third party as the heading, therefore you must enter the description that is expected by the third party.
  • Move to the "Settings" tab.
  • At "Category:", enter the three character code for the third party you want to export the extra information to.
For exporting to eBay using 'Selling Manager Pro' and 'File Exchange', enter 'EBC'.
If you have not already created a "Category:" for the third party, follow the #Creating a New E-commerce Third Party instructions below.
  • At "Prefix:", optionally enter a prefix for the exported heading. The text entered here will be outputted along with the "Description" to make up the heading the third party is expecting. This is useful to hide the first part of the heading if it is meaningless to the person entering the information.
  • At "Default:", optionally enter the default value that will be outputted if no specific value is entered against the prompt for a particular stock item.
  • Press [Done] and [Accept] the change.

Creating a New E-commerce Third Party

  • At "Category:", press <Shift+F10>.
  • At "Attribute category:", enter a unique three character code to identify the third party.
  • At "Description:", enter a description for the third party.
  • Press [Done] and [Accept] the change.
