This article explains how to change or update the local currency value of a transaction.

The method is the same for both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger but the references in this article will be to Sales Ledger.

  • Go to " Sales Ledger Customer History".
  • Find the customer that you want.
  • Press <Enter> twice to pull up the account.
  • Find the transaction that you want to change.
  • Press <Alt+E> to invoke the currency exchange.
  • At the bottom of the window, you will see an Account Details box.
  • Click twice on the Customer line.
  • The transactions on the account will be displayed with the amounts and a rolling balance in the local currency, and the base currency equivalents shown on the right hand side of the screen.
  • Transactions for the past 12 months are displayed in both your home and foreign currencies.
To view older transactions press <F5>.
  • Edit the local currency amounts as necessary.
  • Click [Value Correct/Unverified] to lock the value.

Repeat the editing for any other transactions and then exit from the screens.
