Summary

There maybe cases whereby a particular customer would not wish to be contacted with promotional emails from platinum. It is possible to add a marker on a customer so they no longer get any mailings sent from the Marketing system.

More Information

Go to " Sales Ledger Customer File Maintenance Add or Edit Customers".

  • Select the account or search for a customer.
  • Click on the [Attributes] tab.

Here you will see the following exclusions in the unallocated box:

Marketing Excluded
This is a global exclusion to not send any marketing information to the customer.
Email Message Exclusion
This excludes the customer from messages sent by email.
SMS Message Exclusion
This excludes the customer from messages sent through SMS Text Messages.
Mail Marketing Exclusion
This excludes the customer from receiving any letters.
Telephone Marketing Exclusion
This excludes the customer from receiving any letters.
  • To add simply select the exclusion you require and click the [->] button to allocate the exclusion to that account.

This will stop any marketing of the selected type to this account from this point on.
