When installed Platinum is configured to print its output to the default windows printer. Older copies of platinum may need to be reconfigured.
Printing to the default windows printer is done by using a "Default Print Device" of 'WIN:.'.
Method
To set the "Default Print Device" for Platinum you will need to amend the "Printer Settings".
- The easiest way to amend these is by pressing <Alt+P> while inside any platinum program.
- Press <Ctrl+F1> to open the Print Record Search window.
- From here press [Search] and then select the print record you want to edit.
- Press [Edit] to open the " Print Record Properties" window, then select the [Device] tab.
- Move the cursor to "Default Print Device" and enter 'WIN:.' for the default windows printer.
- The '.' means the current printer, you can substitute the dot for the name of any windows printer you have configured in your windows printers to print on other devices attached to your computer.
