More Information

In the Sales Prospecting system you can record contact notes against a prospect so that you are able to review what details have been discussed with prospective customers. Your 'Prospects Due' list will always show the next contact that is due.

The contact due message will remain in this list until you 'Clear Future Contact Information'.

Go to " Sales Prospecting Prospecting Contacts Due". Follow this article for instructions on how to use this option.

Record a Contact

  • Select your contact in the list.
  • Click [Prospect].
  • Press <F7> to view previous contacts.
  • Click [Add] to enter your comments.
    • The "Contact Type" will pick up the Default Contact Type as set in the settings.
    • Alter the contact type if necessary. Press <F1> or <Shift+F1> to scroll through your contact types.
    • Enter your "Contact Notes" and, if necessary, amend the "Contact Date", "Type" and "Time".

Set Follow Up Details

  • To add another entry into the 'Contacts Due' list, enter the relevant details in the "Follow Up" section.
    • You must enter the 'Salesperson' code in the "By" field.
    • Press <Esc> and [Accept].
The new contact will be shown at the top of the list. The remaining items will be previous recorded contacts and should appear in a different colour indicating they have no follow up date on them.

Clear Previous Task from the Contacts Due list

Items will remain as 'Contacts Due' until you remove the 'Follow Up' information.

  • Move down to the task to mark as completed.
  • Click [F7].
  • Click [Yes] to remove the 'Future Contact' information.

Click [Close] and [Done] to return to your 'Prospects Due' list.
