Summary

This article explains how to alter the registration number on a unit record e.g. when a private plate is removed or added.

More Information

Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units".

  • Find the unit by entering the old registration number.
  • Click [Search] and [Edit].
  • Press <Ctrl+F8> and note the previous registration number in the [General Notes].
  • Click [Done] then enter the new registration number.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept].

Alternatively, to amend the unit whilst creating a workshop job, press <Shift+F10> whilst on the "Unit" field.

  • Repeat the steps described above to amend the registration number.

Service History

You will be able to view a full service history for a unit as long as the correct VIN/Chassis number is entered on a unit record even though the registration number may have been altered.

  • Edit the unit record either via " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units" or via a workshop job by pressing <Shift+F10> whilst on the "Unit" field.
  • Press <Alt+F5>.
  • Select [Deep] to ensure the search uses the current unit's VIN, Chassis and/or Registration.
