Summary

The following article explains what each one of the tick boxes mean on a HPI Vehicle Lookup.

Include a Vehicle Data Check

This option performs the basic Look-up for vehicle details and also performs a Full Vehicle Data Check. This will retrieve and report any additional vehicle details for any record of outstanding finance, the vehicle being involved in an accident (i.e. written off), or being stolen etc.

CRiS lookup

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We are currently awaiting certification\approval for this Feature.

This option is for data checking chassis numbers on caravans. As standard this option is disabled. Your HPI account should have the CRiS Check option included and it must be configured and enabled by Catalyst software support.

Include a Mileage Check

This option adds a section to your Vehicle Look-up results with a heading of "Mileage Check". This compares the current reported mileage of the vehicle with any previous mileage records (e.g. from M.O.T. tests, etc.) and check for any inconsistencies (e.g. one mileage record being supposedly lower than a previous one).

Information: The option will return a result even if there is no discrepancy.
