Summary

The following article explains how to set up Stock Price Codes. These can be used to specify price lists for a customer to use, such as Trade, where items are at a different retail price to the standard.

More Information

Creating a New Price Code

Go to "Stock Control" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "Price, Group & Depot Codes" -> "Add or Edit Price Ranges".

  • Press <F6> to add a new Price Code.
  • Enter a three character code and a suitable description e.g. 'TRA' and 'Trade Price List'.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the Price Code.

Applying the Price Code

Go to "Stock Control" -> "Add or Edit Stock Items".

  • Find the stock code you want to add to the Price List.
  • Press <F5> to edit the item.
  • Press <F8> to edit the prices.
  • Enter the Price Code e.g. 'TRA'.
  • Enter the price for the Price Code.
  • Press <Esc> and [Accept].

Applying the Price Code to Customers

Go to "Sales Ledger" -> "Customer File Maintenance" -> "Add or Edit Customers".

  • Type in the Customer's "Name/Postcode/Account Code" on the "Search on:" field and click [Search] to bring the record up.
  • Click [Edit] to edit the account in question.
  • Click the [Stock] tab.
  • Enter the new Price Code in the "Price Code" field.
  • Press <Esc> and [Accept].
