Summary

This article explains how to change your Platinum Password. Only users with a certain level of security will be able to do this.

More Information

Go to " Systems Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator User Maintenance".

  • Enter the user code for whom you wish to change the Password (you can press <Ctrl+F1> to search). Press <Enter>.
  • Go down to "Password" and press <Ctrl+U> to clear out any password already stored there.
  • Type in the new password for the user. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
  • Press <Enter> and the system will ask you to "Confirm Password".
  • Press <Ctrl+U> to clear out any password already stored there.
  • Type in the new password for the user. Press <Enter>.
  • If the cursor goes back to the "Password" field, then the confirmation password you typed in was different to the original. Repeat the process and try again.
  • Press <Esc> and click [Accept] to finalise the change.

The user should now be able to log in with their new password.
