Summary

The following article explains how to set the job status automatically when you book parts to a workshop job.

More Information

Once you have booked parts to a workshop job, you can have Platinum set a specific status so you can easily see the current status of all your jobs from the diary screen.

Configuration

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings" and search for 'items booked status'.

  • For "All items booked status" enter your status code for 'All Items Booked' or press <Ctrl+F1> to search for it.
If a status doesn't exist then you can create one.
"All Items Booked" means all items currently booked out to the job, as distinct to having some items booked out and some on order.

In Use

  • Once you have booked items to a workshop job with nothing remaining on order, the status will now automatically change to the status set above.
