Summary
This article explains how to set a customer as "opted in" to direct marketing.
More Information
Whether or not a customer is opted in to direct marketing is controlled by customer "Attributes".
Go to " Sales Ledger Customer File Maintenance Add or Edit Customers".
- Search for the customer you want to opt in to marketing.
- Highlight the customer on the list.
- Press <Ctrl+F7> to toggle whether or not the customer is opted in to direct marketing.
- A tick will be shown in the "Marketing" column once the customer is opted in.
- If the customer would only like to opt in to certain types of marketing:
- Press <Alt+F8>, to open the customer "Attributes" tab.
- Here you can find specific attributes to opt a customer into 'SMS' or 'Email' marketing.
