Summary
The following article explains how to change Sales prices on a range of Stock Codes. The change can be based on a percentage increase or decrease or a fixed amount.

Select " Stock Control Maintenance Options Price & Cost Changes Sales\Cost Price Changes".
Changing Standard Selling Prices
Leave the "Price Code to Alter" field blank. This will default to the 'Standard Selling Price'.
- To Increase: Enter the percentage to Increase by or move across to the "Amount" field to enter a value.
- To Decrease: Follow the same instructions making sure you enter the amount as a minus.
- Press <Enter>. Leave the "Based on Price Code" field blank. This will ensure your price change is based on your 'Standard Selling Price'.

- "Depot": Press <F1> to choose your Stock Depot code.
- "Stock Group": Prices can be altered for a specific Stock Group or leave the field blank to ignore this filter. To search for a Stock Group press <Ctrl+F1>, <Search> and select the Group from the list.
- "Stock Code From" and "Stock Code To": If you want to choose a range of Stock Codes enter the first and last codes to use. Press <Ctrl+F1> to search for a Stock Code.
- "Desc. Filter": You may restrict the range to stock codes with only certain words in the description. If so, enter the word or words to search for here.
- "Supplier": Enter a Supplier Account Code to choose only items purchased from a specific Supplier. Press <Ctrl+F1> to search for a Supplier Account.
- "Price Range": You may restrict price changes to items within a current price range e.g. only items over £5.00. Leave the "to" field at zeroes to place no upper price restriction.
- "Round Up Prices": Decide whether prices should be rounded up to the nearest penny.
Once you have set your ranges you have two options:
- 1. Press <F5> to carry out the price change.
- 2. Press <Shift+F5> to view the items and the changes that will be made. In this screen you can move down the list and make any necessary changes e.g. edit a price, press <F10> to exclude an item from the change or press <F6> to add an item to the bottom of the list.
- Press <F2> and <Accept> to save the changes.
Changing Prices for a specific Price Code
- "Price Code to Alter": Enter the Price Code you want to change. Press <Ctrl+F1> and <F2> to choose from a list of codes.
- To Increase: Enter the percentage to Increase by or move across to the "Amount" field to enter a value.
- To Decrease: Follow the same instructions making sure you enter the amount as a minus.
- Enter the same Price Code in the "Based on Price Code" field.
- Follow the instructions in the previous section to fill in the remaining fields and complete the price change.
