Summary
The following article explains how you can set a workshop job status automatically when you backorder parts.
More Information
When you are in a workshop job and need to backorder parts for it, you can have Platinum automatically set a status for it so you can easily see from the diary screen, the status of any jobs.
Configuration
Go to " Workshop Maintenance Options Parameters General Job Parameters (1)".
- Cursor down to the "Items Pending Status" and enter in your code for 'Parts Ordered' or press <Ctrl-F1> to search for it.
- If a status doesn't exist then create one.
- Once entered, click <Exit> to come out of the parameters.
In Use
- Now you have set the parameter, whenever you backorder parts in the workshop, the status will automatically change.
