Summary
This article will explain how to convert a Contact into an Account.
More Information
Go to " Unit Sales Maintenance Options Add or Edit Contact".
- At the "Search On: ", type in the name of the contact that you wish convert into an Account.
- Press <F7> to convert the contact.
- A screen will appear headed "Contact to Account Conversion", and will be prompting for an "Account:". If an account for this contact already exists, enter this here and press <F2>. This will convert the Contact to that Account.
- If there is no account set-up already then leave the "Account:" blank and press <F2> and this will automatically generate the account code whilst converting the contact into an account.
