Summary
This article explains how to view your turnover for a period.
More Information
You may use the Daybook Summary option prior to processing a month end. Once the month end has been run you should use Document History.
Daybook Summary
Go to either " Sales Ledger Sales Reports Daybook Summary" or " Purchase Ledger Purchase Reports Daybook Summary".
- If you have multiple sites enabled, you will be able to select the site for which to view the daybook.
- Leave the site blank if you want to look at all sites.
- You can now enter the start and end date for transactions.
- Either or both of these can be left blank if you don't want to impose a date range.
- Press <F2> to display the summary.
- If you want to view a transaction breakdown for a type of transaction, press <Shift+F2>.
- To print or output the summary or breakdown to file press <Ctrl+P> and choose [Excel], [CSV] or [Print].
All types of payment are totalled at the base of the list and the turnover (Invoices - Credits) is displayed at the top.
Only transactions that have not been printed and accepted on a Daybook printout will be viewable on the summary. |
Document History
This option allows you to see all items or specific types of transactions in a period i.e. 'Invoices/Credits', 'Payments' etc. You may specify the date range, ledger and even a specific account to include so it can be a useful option to look at an individual customer or supplier turnover.
See What does document history show me? for how to use this option.
