Summary

Sometimes you will need to copy a previous vehicle stock already on the system to create a new vehicle. This needs to be done for various reasons the most likely of which will be if a new previously sold vehicle gets traded back in later as a part exchange.

Additional Information

Go to "Vehicle Sales" -> "Add or Edit Vehicles".

  • Press <F2> to get the next available stock code (Automatically Generated number).
  • The press <Ctrl+F10> to "Copy" a vehicle.
  • This will bring up a box headed "Copy Vehicle" which will ask the question "Which vehicle do you want to copy from?". Enter the vehicle number for the record you wish to copy and click [OK].
  • Finally press <Esc> and [Accept] to save the vehicle record.
