Summary

This article explains how to print charts and graphs in Platinum and the circumstances in which this is sometimes not possible.

More Information

When a chart or graph is shown in Platinum, such as in " Turnover Analysis" it is possible to print it out. This is not performed using Platinum's usual printing routines but directly through Windows, such as when printing from Word for example.

To Print a Chart

  • Click the right mouse button on the chart or graph.
  • Select the " Print Preview..." option.
  • Click the [Portrait] or [Landscape] buttons to get the best fit for the chart.
  • You may need to click the [Change Print Size] button ('Shrink To Fit') and choose a size that allows the whole chart to fit on the page.
  • Click the [Print Document] button to print the chart.

I Don't See my Chart

Charts and graphs in Platinum are actually mini web pages and are displayed and printed using your computer's copy of Internet Explorer. Due to some incompatibilities with some earlier versions of Internet Explorer, printing is only possible if you have Internet Explorer 9 or later.

If you see a message like this:

  • "Sorry, you must have Internet 9 or above in order to print charts"

then you must update to the latest version of Internet Explorer or try again on another PC that has a later version.
