Summary

This article will explain how to add a discount in the workshop system.

Additional Information

In Order to be able to give a discount in the workshop you will need to go " Workshop Management Workshop Diary", go either editing and existing job or creating a new job.

  • In order to add discount to the part you will need to add the part to do this follow the instruction on the knowledge base article How do I add Parts to a Workshop Job?.
  • Once you have selected the item you want to add to the workshop job you can enter a discount by simply going down to the "Discount :" field and entering the amount of 'percentage' you will give the customer for discount.
  • Then invoice out the workshop job as you would do normally, giving discounts against each item that ahs been set.

Unlike Stock control you are unable to simply give an overall discount on the workshop job and so the discount will be per an item.
