Syntax
X08{N/V/L}
Description
The value of the nominal transaction posting.
 | When using the parameter for local currency and displaying a currency symbol, the currency symbol must to be set from the appropriate account variable. |
Parameters
- N/V/L
- A text parameter that can be omitted.
- N
- "Nett" amount, or for non V.A.T. related postings returns simply the amount of the current transaction.
- V
- V.A.T. amount, which for centre 'Z999' will be the current posting amount, or for V.A.T. related postings to other centres, the amount posted to centre 'Z999' as part of that posting.
- L
- Posting amount in the base currency of the nominal centre.
Returns
A numeric value whose typical size is 6 digits plus 2 decimal places.
