Adding new unit features

Details

Vehicle Features are pre-defined fitted equipment/items/extras/features that are on vehicles, these can be printed off on your Vehicle Data Sheets, listed on Report Generator Reports and they are also uploaded to the Catalyst FindIt website.

  • Because they are pre-defined you don't have spelling mistakes, duplicates and there entry is quick and easy.

Administration

Go to "Vehicle Sales" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "Vehicle Features".

Adding

  • Press the [Add] button.
  • Enter the feature "Code:" and "Description:".
    • The "Parameters" tab will allow you to change the category of the feature (what type of vehicle this feature is linked to).
  • Press the [Save] button and confirm the changes.

Editing

  • To edit an existing Feature, enter part of the description (or code if known) in to the "Filter On:" and press [Search].
  • Choose the one to edit from the list with the [Edit] button.
  • Make your changes.
    • The "Parameters" tab will allow you to change the category of the feature (what type of vehicle this feature is linked to).
  • Press the [Save] button and confirm the changes.

These features will now appear in the "Features" tab of your "Add or Edit Vehicles" option.
