Summary
This article will guide you through replacing the Platinum icons if they go missing.
More Information
If the Platinum icons are missing from your desktop and\or the "Start" menu, you will need to either; click here to download the Platinum Update file (Platwin.exe),Or go to " My Computer Platinum Drive (typically P:) SX SXUtils".
- Double click on either "Platwin.exe" that has been downloaded, or "SXSetup.exe" located in the SXUtils Folder.
- If a message appears asking if you want to run the software, click [Run].
- A screen should appear saying."Welcome to the Platinum Setup Wizard",at this point click the [No] button as you do not want to update Platinum.
- The next screen will be labelled "Choose Task" to which you will be presented with multiple options.
- Tick the □ next to "Install Platinum shortcuts" and click [Next>].
- A Green barstatus bar will start and when complete you will get the message "Installation completed successfully at
- Click [Close] to close the install program.
