Summary

This article will explain how to set a Delivery Schedule in Logistics Management jobs.

More Information

Existing Job

For an existing job, you will need to find it first.

  • Click [Advanced] or press <F9> and fill in the search criteria.
  • Click on [Search]. This will list jobs that match the search criteria.
  • Click [Edit] or press <F5> against the relevant job. This will take you to " Job Properties".
  • Click on the "Deliver:" field.
  • Click [Con] or press <F5>.
  • A pop up screen with "Contact properties: Deliver" will appear, and from here you can schedule the job.
    • Against "Arranged date:", enter the 'date' for the delivery. (i.e. DD/MM/CCYY).
    • Against "Arranged time:", enter the 'time' for the delivery. (i.e. hh:mm).
  • Click [Close].
  • Press <Esc> or click [Done], then click [Accept] to save the changes.
Also in the "Contact Properties" you can enter a "Contact:", "Phone:", "Opening time:" and "Closing time:". It is also possible to enter all the same details for a Collection Contact.

New Job

To set the Delivery Schedule for a new job, obviously you will need to create it first in the usual way:

  • Press <F6>. This will take you to the " Job Properties" screen.
  • Add the relevant information to the logistics job, i.e. Customer, Job No., Order No., Rate, Quantity, Collection and Delivery details.
  • As you create the new job, you can follow the same procedure as for an existing job from the "Deliver:" field option above onwards.
