Summary
This article explains how to set Platinum to automatically allocate the next stock number to your vehicles.
More Information
When creating vehicle stock in Platinum the system can automatically allocate the next available system number or you can choose on a vehicle by vehicle basis whether to automatically assign or create your own number.
Sales Vehicles
Go to " Systems Unit Sales Maintenance Options Parameters Vehicle Defaults"
- Set "Allocate Automatic Stock Numbers" to 'Y'.
- Click [Exit] to save the changes.
- When you now create a new stock vehicle the system will use the next available number.
Workshop Vehicles
Go to " Systems Workshop Maintenance Options Parameters General Job Parameters (2)"
- Set "Allocate Automatic Stock Numbers" to 'Y'.
- Click [Exit] to save the changes.
- When you now create a new Workshop vehicle the system will use the next available number.
Tip: Vehicles created in the Workshop will always start with a Ninety Million Number i.e. 9???????. |
