Summary

The following article explains how to change the website used for address location from within Platinum.

More Information

With the cursor on the address field in Platinum, pressing <Alt-O> will open your web browser and show you an online map of the address.

To change the website used:

  • Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator System Parameters".
  • Press <Page-Down> until you get to the page titled "System Paths".
  • Cursor down to "Address Link" and then enter in the web address you wish to use for online mapping.
You will need to pass the title and post code to the site, this is done by using the tokens '~p' for postcode and '~t' for the title.
"http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=~p" will open Google Maps.
