Summary

The following article explains how you change the the website used for locating address from within Platinum.

More Information

With the cursor on any address field in Platinum, pressing <Alt-O> causes Platinum to open up your web browser and show you an online map of the address. To change the default website used:

  • Go to " Reports & Parameters Maintenance Options System Administrator System Parameters".
  • Press <Page-Down> until you get to the page titled "System Paths".
  • Cursor down to "Address Link" and then enter in the address you wish to use for online mapping.
You will need to pass the title and post code to the site, this is done by using the tokens '~p' for postcode and '~t' for the title.
For Example:  "http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=~p" Will open the map in Google Maps
