Summary

This article explains how to set the service defaults and first service after sale for units by model.

More Information

Go to " Unit Sales Maintenance Options Add or Edit Models".

  • In the "Search on" field, type the model code or description and click [Search] to find the model.
  • Click [Edit] or press <F5> to open the "Model Properties" window.
  • Click the [Defaults] tab.
  • The standard service interval can be entered in the "Service months" field.
  • Click the [New] tab.
  • You can enter the first service interval after the sale of a new unit in the "First service" field.
  • Click the [Used] tab.
  • You can enter the first service interval after the sale of a used unit in the "First service" field.
  • If any of these fields are left as '0', the system defaults will be used.
  • Once you have made the changes, click [Done] and [Accept].
