Summary
This article explains how to control the number of messages the Retention Centre sends.
More Information
- Go to " Workshop/Unit Sales/Reports & Settings Retention Centre Regular Processes".
- Once the Retention Centre has finished compiling, you will be left with the Actions Due.
- To limit the number of messages sent, you will need to press <Alt+F10> or click [Hold/Unhold] against the messages you do not want to send at that time.
To make this easier, click on the "Method" to group the methods in order. This also means you can see the number of SMS Actions to be sent and they can easily be limited with the method. Alternatively sort the list by Customer by clicking the "Code" field. |
- You can then run the Retention Centre again to pick up the ones that you held and repeat the holding process to control the number of messages sent.
Example Situation
Mr John Smith brought a car this time two years ago but is also due a service at this point. The system would show a service reminder in the retention centre and also a after sales thank you letter from the vehicle sales side. In this case the after sales thank you could be put on hold for a week or so and then sent later to avoid sending both at the same time.
