Summary

This article explains how to create a new vehicle manufacturer.

More information

Go to " Unit Sales Maintenance Options Add or Edit Manufacturers".

  • Click [Add] or press <F6> to create a new manufacturer.
  • In the "Manufacturer" field, enter the new manufacturer code. This can be anything up to 3 characters long.
  • In the "Description" field, enter a suitable description for the manufacturer.
  • To set the vehicle service defaults for this manufacturer, click on the [Parameters] tab and set the "Service months" value to the expected service interval. If this field is left at 0, it will look at the system defaults for service intervals.
  • If you want to set the first service interval after the vehicle sale, enter a value in the "New vehicle" and/or "Used vehicle" fields.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the new manufacturer.
