How do I create a workshop job status?

More Information

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Module Settings Workshop Add or Edit Job Statuses".

• Click [List] to view existing status codes.
• Click [Add] or press <F6> to create a new status.
• In the "Unit status" field, enter the new status code. This can be anything up to 3 characters long.
• In the "Description" field, enter a suitable description for this status.
• To set the text colour for this status, tick the box next to "Text" and use the drop down to choose a suitable colour.
• To set the background colour for this status, tick the box next to "Background" and use the drop down to choose a suitable colour.
• If you want to prevent jobs of this status being visible to technicians using Platinum Online set the "Visible to technicians?" flag to 'No'.
• Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the new status.

You may also press <Shift+F10> from the "Status" field within a job to add a new status.
