How do I create additional PDI workshop job choices?

Summary

When a sales order for a unit is printed and accepted, the system can create a workshop job for the PDI. The following article explains how to create additional PDI job choices.

Creating the Workshop Job

  • Follow the instructions in this article for details on how to create a standard workshop job.
  • At the point of saving the job, set "PDI job" to 'Yes'.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the job.

Selecting the PDI Job

  • Follow the instructions in this article for details on how to create the unit sales order.
  • On the "Sale details" tab, set the "Standard job" option to the PDI job of your choice.
If you do not have the option to choose a standard job follow the instructions below.

Enabling Standard Job Prompt

Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings" and search for 'prompt code'.

  • Set "Prompt for Code" to 'Yes'.
  • Press <Esc> to exit.
