Summary

This article explains how to create templates that will control how the information about your vehicles will appear on eBay Motors Pro.

This article is only applicable to users who have the eBay Motors Pro vehicle feed. If you are interested in setting up this feed, please Contact your Platinum dealer or our sales team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website sales contact page for more information

More Information

  • To amend your eBay Motors Pro templates, log in to Platinum Online. This will take you to Platinum Online.
  • Click the menu icon in the top-left corner of the page to open the menu, or swipe from left to right if you are using a mobile device or tablet, and go to " Administration Vehicle Feeds eBay Motors Pro".

To add a template:

  • At "Options", if you would like to accept offers from buyers and give them a chance to negotiate with you, select the "Show Best Offer" check box. To find out more about eBay's "Best Offer" feature, see their help page.

Which Template Will Be Used?

For any vehicle, there may be more than one template that could apply to it. The following rules decide which template will be used:

  • A template with a specific "Vehicle Type" set will be chosen over an 'All Vehicle Types' template.
  • If the "Vehicle Type" is the same, a template with a specific "Site" set will be chosen over an 'All Sites' template.

When Will My Changes Be Visible?

Any changes made will be visible when the next datafeed is published to eBay. This generally happens once per day overnight.
