Summary
This article explains how to do a stock check to correct the stock level of an item from your preferred mobile device.
Using your Platinum Online Account for a Stock Check
Log into your Platinum Online account as explained here.
- From the "Sidebar" options, select "Stock" and then "Stock Check".
- Either:
- Find the part you require by entering the "Stock Number", "Barcode" or part of the stock description.
- or,
- Tap [Lucky Dip] to perform a random stock check which returns a list of 10 random stock items.
If your search returned multiple items select a part from the list by tapping it. |
- In the "Quantity" field, enter the quantity that you counted.
- In the "Location" field, enter the location where the item is stored.
- Tap the [Submit] to update the quantity level and location.
After tapping [Submit] you will be taken back to the list of stock items on the previous page with the stock item you just updated removed.
If you are performing a random stock check you should repeat the process above until there are no more items left in the list.
