When submitting your VAT100 Platinum stores a record of the file that has been submitted to HMRC and their response.

These files can be found in your {{FilePath|<Platinum Installation Drive>\SX\SXCO *Company Data Folder* \DOCS\RP\VAT}}. You will need to access this via an option such as '''My Computer'''.

* There will be 3 files per submission. 
* They will each be named with the date of submission, a unique code and a filename.
* Submissions made before Making Tax Digital will be named:
** {{FilePath|SUBMISSION.XML}} contains the information submitted to HMRC.
** {{FilePath|RESPONSE.XML}} contains their response having received your submission.
* Submissions made using Making Tax Digital will be named:
** {{FilePath|SUBMISSION.JSON}} contains the information submitted to HMRC.
** {{FilePath|RESPONSE.JSON}} contains their response having received your submission.
* {{FilePath|.LOG}} contains a summarised version of their response in a text document.
