To be able to set a technician to being left so that the hours available for that technician in the workshop diary is reduced giving an accurate amount of available hours, which will help in preventing double booking allocated time.

Additional Information

  • In order to set a technician as being left you will need to go to "Workshop Management" -> Maintenance Options" -> "Technicians Labour Rates" -> "Add or Edit Labour Codes".
  • This will take you to the "Add or Edit Labour Codes" screen, it is here where you need to bring up the relevant Technician whom you would like to make leave. To do this either:
    • Type in the technicians "Labour Code:".
    • Run a Search for the technicians Labour code via pressing <Crtl+F1> and then typing in the technicians name or use the <F1>/<Shift+F1> keys to advance through the list of technicians.
    • With the correct technician listed, go down to the available hours and set "Sunday:" through to "Saturday:"as '0.00'.
    • Next enter the date that the technician left on "Leaving Date:".
  • Press <Esc> a prompt will pop up asking "Do you want to accept or ignore any changes made?" click on [Accept].
