Summary

This article explains how to make Workshop Job Types mandatory by assigning them to categories so that one of the Job Types in the category has to be chosen.

More Information

  • Go to " Workshop Maintenance Options Parameters Add or Edit Job Types".
  • In the "Filter on" box type in the name or the code of the job type you wish to make mandatory and press <Enter>. If one does not exist already create a new one.
  • Click on the "Parameters" tab and then click into the "Category" field.
  • If the field already has a category already entered press <Shift+F10> to bring up the category properties, or press <Ctrl+F1> to bring up the category search window where you can search for an existing category or create a new one.
  • Click onto the "Parameters" tab and set the "Mandatory" flag to 'Yes'.
  • Click [Done] and [Accept].
