How do I print a list of nominal centres?

Summary
There maybe occasions when you will need a list of all you nominal centres (e.g. if you need to find a gap for a new centre number) This article talks you through how to get such a list either displayed on screen or printed to a printer

- Go to "Accounts" -> "Nominal Ledger" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "Centre Maintenance" -> "List Centres"
This will bring up a screen that shows the following
-> All Centres Fixed Assets Asset/Liability Financed By Sales/Cost of Sales Overheads The list will be sent to the screen. ________________________________________________________________________________ Do you want totals with the list : Y (Y/N) <ESC> - Exit, <END> - Functions.
This allows you to select only certain centres, whether you want totals and whether you want the results going to "Screen" or "Printer". The default will be all centres, with totals, sent to the screen. This can be changed to sending to the printer by pressing <F2>.
What do the Letters mean on the Nominal Centre List?
When a Listing is produces you will see in the 3rd and forth columns some Letters that denote where in the profit and loss and balance sheet the amounts in those centres appear.
Profit and Loss
- A = Sales/Cost of Sales
- B = Overhead
- C = Sales
- D = Sales/Cost of Sales
Balance Sheet
- A = Fixed Asset
- B = Asset/Liability
- C = Financed By
- D = Current Asset
- E = Current Liability
