How do I record a signature against a workshop job?

Summary

Using Platinum Online you may store a digital signature e.g. for a customer, technician or service manager.

To check/set up your Platinum Online log in details, click here

Select " Workshop Technician Activity".

All Jobs your system is configured to display will be listed on screen.
Select the Job to log a signature against.
Click [Add Signature]. This will open a new screen with a large box where you can enter a signature, and a few other fields:
The dropdown above the signature box allows you to choose some text describing what is being signed for. See Configuring the media managers in Platinum Online for how to add your own disclaimers and set per-module defaults.
- "Name" is for recording who is signing.
- "Date" is prefilled with today's date and time.
To clear the signature and start over, press [Clear] at the bottom right of the signature box.
Click [Send] to upload the signature to your Platinum system as a stored image file.
