This article explains how to record employee time using Platinum Online.

More Information

  • Select the Platinum Online icon from your Home screen.
  • Enter your 'Online ID' and 'Password' log in details.
To check/set up your Platinum Online log in details, click here.

Recording Time

Select " Personnel Planning Employee Activity".

Workshop technicians should record time using " Workshop Technician Activity".

Recording Activities

This option can be used to record the time spent on different activities through the working day. To start working on an activity:

  • Select [Activities].
  • Select the appropriate "Activity" from the list.
  • Confirm the selection.

To start working on another activity

  • Select [Finished Activity] or choose the next activity from the list.

Geolocation

This option can also record the location of recorded activities. The first time the employee uses the option on their geolocation compatible device, they will be asked whether they consent to Platinum Online accessing their location data. If they do consent, the location of the start and finish of each activity will be recorded and will be viewable in the " Personnel Planning Employee Activity Report".

Log Out

At the end of each day you should finish working on activities and log out of Platinum Online. To finish working on activities:

  • Select [Logging Off] from the list of activities.

To log out of Platinum Online:

  • Select the 3 bars () to the left of [Employee Activity].
  • Select [Logout].
