Summary
This article explains how to enter secure notes onto a job using the Journals feature.
More Information
Journals allow you to record permanent, secure notes on a jobcard i.e. once written they cannot be edited or deleted.
Go to " Workshop Workshop Diary".
To add a journal to an existing job, press <Ctrl+F1> to search for the job.
- Fill in the search criteria to find the relevant job.
- Click on [Search]. This will list jobs that match your search criteria.
- Select the relevant job and click [Edit].
This will take you to the Workshop Job Properties.
- At this screen, press <Alt+F8> to display [View Journal].
- Click [Add].
- Type your notes and click [Close] when complete.
- Click [Accept] to save the notes.
- The system will automatically stamp the Date, Time and Employee Name above the note.
These notes cannot be deleted from this jobcard nor can they be edited. |
