Summary

Unit Check Sheets can be recorded manually or using Platinum Online.

More Information

Regardless of the method used, results other than 'Pass' will create advisories against the unit. These can be reported on and reminders sent using the retention centre.

Manual Entry

Go to " Workshop Workshop Diary"

  • Edit the job for the unit or create a new job.
  • Click [Check Sheet] or press <Alt+F3>.
This article explains which check sheet will be produced.

Having completed the health check, reload the job.

  • Go the "Unit" field and press <Shift+F10> to edit the unit.
  • Select the [Check sheets] tab.
  • Click [Add].

If necessary select the correct "Job Type" else leave it set to 'GEN'.

  • Click [Search].
  • Enter the "Mileage" and any "Comments".
  • Against each "Question", select the result for the check and enter any specific "Notes".
  • Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the check sheet.

Online Entry

Connect to Platinum Online.

The option to add a check sheet will only appear if the user has full Workshop access or has 'Check Sheet Review' as an option on their Workshop menu.
  • Select " Workshop Unit Check Sheets".
  • Select the "Check sheet type" (if in doubt choose 'General').
  • Find the unit you wish to add a check sheet to e.g. enter the "Reg Number", "Stock Number" or "Model".
  • Select the unit to load a blank check sheet.
  • Enter the "Mileage" and any "Comments".
  • Against each "Question", select the result for the check and enter any specific "Comments".
  • Click [Submit].

Printing Completed Check Sheets

Access the unit record via an existing job or via " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units".

  • Select the [Check sheets] tab.
  • Select the Check Sheet to print and press <F7>.
